Elephant Safari in Kaziranga National Park

In
the northeastern state of Assam, lies the
Kaziranga
National Park. The park is spread over an area of 37,822 hectares of
green vegetation. The tall elephant grasses of the park make it an ideal
habitat for the Indian one-horned Rhinos. Besides this huge creature the
park is also inhabited by a number of animals such as: Indian Elephants,

The best time to visit the Kaziranga National Park is from mid-November to
early April. The low-lying grasslands of the park get flooded with the
waters of Brahmaputra River in the monsoons.
