Mount Malcom It used to be the residence of Sir
John Malcom, the founder of this hill station of Mahabaleshwar. It was built
in 1829 with great architectural skills.
Wilson Point This is also known as the sunrise
point and is said to be Mahabaleshwar's highest point, which offers a
spectacular view of the sunrise.
Sir BD Petit Library This library holds a good and
precious collection of books and an excellent billiards table. This library
is a must see for the travellers.
Morarji Castle This castle once served as a
temporary home for Mahatma Gandhi in 1945.
Venna Lake Lake Venna is considered an ideal place
for an evening outing and is a favourite hangout spot for most of the
tourists. The lake is about 2.5 km long. Boating, fishing and horse riding
are the extra attractions near the lake. The place is also famous for its
luscious strawberries.
Lingmala & Chinaman's Waterfalls The Lingmala &
Chinaman's falls offers picturesque sights and turn to their very best
during and after monsoon when the water level rises.
Kate's Point - Call it Kate's Point or an 'echo point'
its beauty is gonna remain unchanged. You can also relish the surrounding
beauty of the place from this point. You can see the ribbon-like Krishna
river as it winds its way through green fields. Apart from the Kate's Point

Mahabaleshwar Temple It is one of the important
landmarks of this hill resort. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahabaleshwar
and so the name of the hill station is on him.
Pratapgad Fort This fort was built in 1656 and till
today it survives in a good shape. Some 450 steps lead up to the top. This
fort is built in three levels. There are four observation towers at
strategic corners, from where one can see the neighbouring districts of
Raigad, Satara and Ratnagiri.
