Naini Lake Naini Lake is the prime attraction of

mythology has it that the lake is one of the emerald green eyes of Sati,

Naina Devi Temple The Naina Devi temple is located
at the northern end of the Naini lake. This temple is said to be the exact
spot where the eyes of Sati fell after Vishnu chopped up her body and
scattered it over the country to stop Shiva's cosmic dance of destruction.
Snow View The height of this hill top is 2270 mts
and offers spectacular views of the snowbound high Himalaya including the
Nanda Devi. A real thrill for kids as well as adults is the rope way Aerial
Express to Snow View.
Tiffin Top - This terraced hill top is located at 4 km
from the lake. Also famous as Dorothy's Seat, this hill station gives a nice
view of the neighbouring country side. Dorothy's Seat is a stonework picnic
perch on Tiffin Top built as a memorial to an English artist, Dorothy
Kellet, by her husband and admirers after her sudden death in a plane crash.
Nainital Zoo This zoo is a famous spot for the
tourists from all over. The main draws of the zoo are the monkeys, Himalayan
black bear, Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Palm civet cat, Wolf, Hill Fox, Ghoral,
Deer , Sambhar and many more.
Caves Garden - This feature is the latest addition in the
list of numerous tourism spots in Nainital . It is located in Sukha Tal
around one Km from Mallital very near to Kumaun University Campus.
Naina or China Peak This is the highest peak of the
town. It gives an entrancing view of the snow clad Himalayas and a bird's
eye view of the Naini lake.
