Day 1 - Delhi A
grand traditional Indian welcome awaits you at Delhi International
Aiport where you are received in style by our reception team. Later
you'll be escorted to hotel to relax and get your doubts clarified, if
any.Day 2 - Delhi We start our day with breakfast after which we embark upon our sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Delhi has been the seat of power of India almost continuously, barring some brief periods in between. The destinations which attract hordes of tourists are Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb, Red Fort and Jama Masjid. You can also choose to wander in the maze called Old Delhi. You can roam around in Chandni Chowk followed by a sound and light show at Red Fort. In the night you dine in style with us as you prepare for the overnight stay in the Delhi hotel. Delhi has such a rich cultural heritage that devoting one day for sightseeing in Delhi hardly suffices and that's why we'll stay here for one more night and do some more sightseeing the next day. Day 3 - Delhi - Jaipur In New Delhi today we explore the heritage of British Raj in India. The monuments such as India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Birla Temple and Akshar Dham Temple are important tourism destinations as well as architectural marvels in their own right. After completing our Delhi sojourn, we drive off to Jaipur. After our arrival in Jaipur, we check in at the hotel where we'll stay for the night. Day 4 - Jaipur It's not for nothing that we had to give one whole day for Jaipur as the attractions are numerous such as the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The palace covers almost 14 percent area of Jaipur and it also houses a museum within. The other places that Jaipur is famous for are Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Govind Devji Temple, Amber Fort where you'll reach the fort on an elephant back and believe us ... you'll feel like a Maharaja. The other forts worth a visit are Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort. After a day which is exhausting and refreshing at the same time, you'll have your dinner in the night at the hotel and our overnight stay is also scheduled in the Jaipur hotel itself. Day 5 - Jaipur - Jodhpur We proceed to Jodhpur in the morning itself as the journey is somewhat long and it takes 6 hours to reach Jodhpur. Sometimes it's difficult to describe Jodhpur's location as it is the gateway to the Thar desert and yet outside it as it is situated right on the edge of the Thar desert. Prime tourist attractions are Mehrangarh Fort situated on top of a rocky hill and Jaswant Thada memorial. The city is surrounded and fortified by a 10 km long wall. Day 6 - Jodhpur - Udaipur After having an early morning breakfast we'll head towards Udaipur. We'll also be visiting Ranakpur en route which is famous for a 15th century Jain Temple. The temple has intricate carvings and sculptures. We'll also visit two more Jain temples and a temple of the Sun God. After reaching Udaipur we head towards the hotel to check in and for relaxing. Day 7 - Udaipur - Delhi Udaipur
is mostly known as the "City of Lakes" and is surrounded by
Aravalli Hills and three lakes. We visit the City Palace amidst Lake
Pichola as it is one of the must-see destinations in India. The other
palaces within the City Palace are Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Moti
Mahal and Krishna Vilas. There are two more mesmerizing palaces amidst
the waters of Lake Pichola - Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas (Lake Palace). The
other important tourist attractions of Udaipur are Fateh Sagar Lake,
Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon ki Bari etc. As our journey back in time comes to an end, we head back to Delhi by flight for our respective onward journeys from the international airport where you'll be helped along the way by our team which will be there to see you off. |
