The bugle of the marriage is blown with the Haldi( turmeric) ceremony, where the bride and the groom are adorned with the turmeric paste. It is said that this procress brings a special glow on the faces of both of them. The second day starts with the Mehendi function where the hands and feet of the bride gets decorated with the colourful hue of mehendi. Finally comes the most crucial day-the day of marriage where the bride gets adorned with ethnic gold ornaments. She wears the 'mundri' commonly called as tiara hanging on her forehead.
