The majestic Corbett National Park is located at the foothills of
Himalayas. The park was spawned in 1936 as Hailey National Park. It is
India's first national park and sanctuary to come under the Project Tiger.

honour of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned
author and photographer. Famous for its wild population of tigers, leopards

The Claridges Corbett Hideaway is
located near Dhikuli in Ramnagar, in Uttaranchal. The resort offers a unique
combination of natural sensations and contemporary comforts. Far away from
the exhaust pipes of trucks and vehicles, from the booming loudspeakers and
hoardings, the resort provides with an environment which makes us feel at
home even away from home.
Accommodation & Dining
There are around 40 cottages at the Claridges Corbett Hideaway. The
cottages are equipped with all the luxury and comforts such as stone floors
with delightfully patterned rugs, block wood furniture, hot baths,
televisions with cable connectivity, complimentary soft drinks and other
facilities. The cottages at the Claridges Corbett Hideaway are snuggled in
between mango, guava and jack fruit orchards, laced with bamboo thickets,
hibiscus, azalea, rain flowers and other bright blossoms.
The Claridges Corbett Hideaway has a restaurant, the Guerney House that
serves Continental and Indian cuisine. The Jim's Grill serves excellent
grilled freshwater fish and other delights. The Tusker Bar serves excellent
wines and cocktails.

How To Breeze In
By Air : The nearest airport to Corbett National Park is Phoolbagh,
Pantnagar which is at a distance of 50 km. The nearest international airport
is at Delhi which is at a distance of 300 km from Corbett.
By Rail : The nearest railway station is at Ramnagar from where road
transport options have to be availed to reach the park.
By Road : Dhikala is 300 km from Delhi, 145 km from Lucknow and 51
km from Ramnagar. The route from Delhi spans Hapur-Murababad-Ramnagar. The
turn off is some 7 km beyond Muradabad to the left, marked by a small board.
The route from Lucknow spans Bareilly-Kichha-Rudrapur-Doraha-Kashipur.
